About the Artwork

Ver-Nyx is part of Lines of Transformation, Silvia Pusceddu's Signature Collection exploring the invisible architecture of human experience through line, colour, and movement.

Created through an intuitive and emotionally driven process, Ver-Nyx reflects the moment when what has long been contained begins to emerge into presence. It inhabits the threshold between silence and expression, where memory, restraint, and desire converge before taking on a new visual language.

Bold black structures traverse the composition like unseen pathways, holding together expansive fields of crimson, deep blue, and muted grey. Rather than defining boundaries, the lines become channels through which emotion is released and transformed.

Grey evokes uncertainty and the weight of what remains unspoken, while the vibrant passages of colour suggest vitality reclaiming space. Nothing disappears within the composition; every experience is absorbed, reshaped, and carried forward as movement.

The title reflects this duality. Ver suggests truth rediscovered through lived experience, while Nyx, the ancient Greek personification of night, represents darkness not as absence, but as the fertile space from which renewal begins.

Ver-Nyx is not about returning to what once existed.

It is about becoming something that could only emerge through transformation.

Every Collector's Edition is presented in Silvia Pusceddu's signature thin floating black frame, conceived as the final gesture that completes the artwork and preserves its intended visual presence.

Each piece is individually produced using museum-quality giclée printing on 100% cotton canvas with archival pigment inks, ensuring exceptional colour accuracy, depth, and permanence.

Provenance & Exhibition History

The original artwork, Acrylic on Cotton Canvas (150 × 120 cm, 2025), was selected for the Contemporaries Exhibition at Domio Gallery, London, where it was presented in the official exhibition catalogue and international digital showcase.
