About the Artwork
Armour forms part of Lines of Transformation, Silvia Pusceddu's Signature Collection exploring the invisible architecture of human experience through movement, colour, and interconnected lines.
Created through an intuitive and deeply instinctive process, Armour emerged as an emotional landscape where movement, line, and colour unfolded beyond conscious intention. From this organic flow, a protective structure gradually revealed itself, ancient, silent, and profoundly symbolic.
More than an emblem of defence, Armour reflects the invisible structures we build throughout life. Shaped by memory, experience, love, and resilience, these inner layers protect what is most fragile within us while quietly carrying the stories that define who we become.
Yet Armour is not simply about protection. It explores the delicate balance between resilience and vulnerability, between the instinct to withdraw and the courage to remain open. Beneath every protective layer exists a quiet desire to reconnect, soften, and be seen without losing one's true self.
Meditative and contemplative, the artwork invites the viewer inward, suggesting that vulnerability is not the opposite of strength, but one of its deepest expressions.

This artwork is presented exclusively in Silvia Pusceddu's signature floating black frame, conceived as the final "closing gesture" that completes the composition and preserves its intended visual presence.
